RasayanXchange is open to foreign companies by invitation. It is free for the first 6 months.

Write to support@rasayanxchange.com with your company name and country. We send a personal sign-up link to your company email.

  2. 2

    Register your company

Use your company email (not Gmail, Yahoo or similar). Add your company registration, VAT or trade-licence number, a copy of the certificate, and a mobile number.

  3. 3

    We verify you

We check official company registers where they exist (EU VIES, UK Companies House, GLEIF) and screen your company against UN, US, UK and EU sanctions lists.

  4. 4

    You are approved

Once our team approves your company, sign in and start asking for quotations.

Good to know: Every buyer is checked before approval, so Indian suppliers know the enquiry is real. That is why they reply.

Compare, choose and close the deal

Suppliers quote in your currency, on your Incoterm, with their loading port in India.

  1. 1

    Compare the quotations

Price per kg in your currency, Incoterm, loading port, dispatch time and supplier details side by side.

  2. 2

    Choose a supplier

    Choose Supplier

Pick the quotation you like best.

  3. 3

    We introduce you

We email you the supplier’s contact details, and email the supplier yours. Reply to the email to reach them.

  4. 4

    Agree the contract directly

Settle the contract, payment (for example a Letter of Credit or bank transfer), inspection and shipping directly with the supplier.

Good to know: RasayanXchange never holds your money and is not a party to the contract. Ask for samples or third-party inspection if you need them.

Chapter 4 · Incoterms and documents

Export terms in plain words

The Incoterm decides who pays for what, and where the risk passes from the supplier to you.

  1. 1

    EXW

You collect the goods from the supplier’s site in India and arrange everything after that.

  2. 2

    FOB

The supplier loads the goods on your ship at the Indian port. You pay the sea freight and insurance.

  3. 3

    CFR

The supplier also pays the sea freight to your port. Insurance is yours.

  4. 4

    CIF

Like CFR, and the supplier also buys basic insurance for the voyage.

  5. 5

    DAP

The supplier delivers to your named place. You pay import duty and clear customs.

  6. 6

    DDP

The supplier delivers and pays the import duty too. The easiest for you, usually the highest price.

Good to know: New to importing chemicals? FOB or CIF to your nearest port is the most common choice. Your freight forwarder can advise.

Chapter 5 · Please read

What you can and cannot request

Some chemicals need a special licence to leave India. We keep those out, so your request does not get stuck later.

  1. 1

    Chemicals in our catalogue

Requests are for chemicals in the RasayanXchange catalogue, identified by name and CAS number.

  2. 2

    No licence-controlled chemicals

Chemicals controlled under India’s NDPS rules, explosives precursors and SCOMET (dual-use) items cannot be requested.

  3. 3

    Your import rules apply

Import permits, registrations (such as REACH in Europe) and duties in your country remain your responsibility.
