Himadri Speciality Chemical Q2 FY27: Net Profit Up 31.5% to ₹232 Crore, Total Income Up 56.6%

Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd reported consolidated net profit of ₹232.32 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2026 (Q2 FY27), up 31.51% from ₹176.66 crore a year earlier.

Total income rose 56.57% to ₹1,733.22 crore, from ₹1,106.96 crore in Q2 FY26. Against the previous quarter, total income was up 16.46% (from ₹1,488.19 crore) and net profit up 1.22% (from ₹229.52 crore). Earnings per share were ₹4.60, against ₹4.55 in Q1.

For the six months to 30 September 2026, total income was ₹3,221.41 crore (up 43.05% from ₹2,251.93 crore) and net profit ₹461.84 crore (up 28.88% from ₹358.35 crore).

What it means for buyers and suppliers

Himadri makes carbon materials such as carbon black and coal-tar pitch. Income growing much faster than profit suggests higher volumes or prices with thinner margins per tonne — so buyers of these materials should not expect easy price cuts, while suppliers of coal tar and feedstocks are dealing with a customer that is buying more.
