India Chem 2026: Mumbai to Host Flagship Chemicals Show on 22–24 October
Mark the dates if you buy, sell or make chemicals in India. The 14th edition of India Chem — the flagship event of the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, organised with FICCI — runs from 22 to 24 October 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Mumbai, under the theme "Advantage Bharat: An Emerging Global Chemicals Hub".
Launching the event on 6 October, Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Anupriya Patel said the chemicals and petrochemicals sector can become a key growth engine of the Indian economy.
The three days combine an exhibition with a Global CEOs' Forum, ministerial and country sessions, sector-specific roundtables, an awards night and student competitions, spanning chemicals and petrochemicals, process machinery and automation.
The ambition behind it: event material values India's chemicals sector at about US$220 billion today, with a target of US$850 billion to US$1 trillion by 2040.
Planning to attend?
Treat it as a meeting event, not just a walk-through. Shortlist the exhibitors and sessions that match your product lines, and fix buyer and supplier meetings before you arrive — the best conversations at India Chem are usually booked in advance.
